Filling Procedures (Dermal Filling)
Filling processes are performed using dermal fillers. These substances have an aesthetic gel-based content that is injected into the skin. It is specially designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, shape the face and create volume. Some dermal fillers can also be used to moisturize and rejuvenate your skin.

Dermal fillers are based on the substance, which is a sugar molecule naturally found in almost all living organisms. Its normal function is to bind water so that it acts as a lubricant and shock absorber in moving parts of the body, such as joints. It is also important for transporting nutrients and regulating the water balance in the skin. Dermal fillers strengthen your skin with this naturally occurring substance, giving the area instant vitality and volume. This reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles and gives a naturally softer appearance.

In Which Regions Is It Used?
It is used to create or shape facial features such as cheeks, nose and chin. It can also be used to rejuvenate the skin. The most common areas treated are as follows:

Lines running from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds)
Glabella lines between the eyebrows
Lips
cheeks
Jaw
Nose
Temple
How Are Filling Processes Applied?
Dermal fillers are injected into the area to be treated with disposable fine-tipped needles. During the procedure, substances that numb the area such as topical anesthetic creams can be used to make the patient comfortable. The procedure takes about 15-30 minutes, depending on the area to be treated.

How Long Does the Effect Last?
The biggest advantage of filling processes is their longevity. Dermal fillers are biodegradable, meaning they disappear naturally in the body. Complementary treatment is recommended 6-12 months after your initial treatment to achieve an optimum and long-lasting result, which varies from person to person.

Chin Filling
Certain areas of our face begin to show aging effects as time passes. Areas such as the area around the eyes, lip edges and forehead give the signals of aging and become deformed. However, the chin is actually a part that changes facial expression by deforming with aging. The chin is one of the characteristic areas that is often neglected and unnoticed. When viewed from the profile, people who think that their nose is too big, mostly have a small chin. The chin has an important place in the expression of the face. Chin filling is preferred to correct the expression of people with very small chins.

Most of the dermal fillers used for chin fillers are found in our skin and in our body. Therefore, it is very safe to use in filler injections. With the application of chin filling, a more aesthetic appearance is obtained by developing a chin that fits the face shape of the person. Before the fillers are injected, the chin area can be numbed with some anesthetic creams. The inward chin can be taken out or the short chin can be extended to make it suitable for the face.

Jaw filling is a short procedure. All processes are completed in 30 minutes and the person can see the effect immediately. Since there is no such thing as a recovery process, the patient can immediately return to his daily life. It is normal for some redness and swelling to occur in the treated area for a few hours. This will go away on its own after a few hours. It is important to approach the face holistically when performing chin filling. Sometimes adding to the cheekbones or lip area can be advantageous in terms of mathematical measures.

One of the rare side effects after the chin filling procedure is the formation of small bruises in the application area. This is more common in people with delicate skin. However, these bruises are very small and can be covered with make-up. In a few days, the bruises will become completely invisible. Likewise, swelling will not last more than a few days.

Jawline Padding
A sharp jawline both improves facial symmetry and helps you look younger. It is very easy to achieve the look you want with jawline filler, which is suitable for people whose jawline is unclear. Izmir Aeshetic Center doctors can reshape the chin contour.

You may be at a point where you realize that your jawline is no longer so tight, that it changes with age. This may be due to genetics; The fat pads on the cheekbones will eventually sag to the lowest point near the chin. Therefore, if we want to ensure the best healing of the jawline, we need to treat the upper face as well. It is very important to put your natural face shape into the equation for this treatment. Only by working with your natural face shape can we emphasize the contours of your face and define your features in a natural and beautiful way. At this point, jawline filling comes into play and fulfills your wishes.

Effect Duration
The effect of the dermal fillers used in the jawline filling process lasts for 12 months. However, this time interval varies from person to person. Eventually the body will break down the fillers and expel them from the body. Afterwards, if you want, it is possible to have jawline filling again.

Nasolabial Filler
Nasolabial filling is a very common procedure that has been performed for years. It is possible to get rid of these lines by injecting dermal filler into the lines from the corners of the nose to the outside of the mouth corners.

The most obvious effects of aging appear on our face. Lines around the mouth are also a sign of aging. At the same time, these lines cause the face to look more drooping and tired. The special filling applied to eliminate these lines is called nasolabial filling.

People who have knowledge about filling or botox applications may not have an idea about nasolabial filling.

How is it applied?
Today, fillers now contain local anesthesia together with hyrolonic acid, increasing the comfort of the procedure. Therefore, the procedure cannot be said to be painful. During the application, fillers are injected with the help of fine-tipped needles in the wrinkles and the patient can continue his daily life immediately after the procedure.

The full effect of the filler lasts from 6 to 10 months. However, the patient can have a nasolabial filling once a year if he wishes. The permanence of the procedure varies from patient to patient. The more active the enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid is, the faster the filler is broken down and the effectiveness decreases.
